Minitrix T12006 Santa Fe GE U28C Diesel Locomotive 576 with Traction Tires

Red and silver, with a black and yellow nose decal and red and yellow printing, this powered Santa Fe ("Silver War Bonnet") General Electric U28C diesel locomotive bears reporting number 576.

Manufactured by the now defunct, West German firm, Minitrix, this eight wheel drive, analog, Non-DCC ready model has an incandescent headlight bulb, truck mounted Rapido couplers, a pair of rubber traction tires, and nickel silver plated metal drive wheels.

In C-9 condition, this vintage locomotive is packaged in a very lightly shopworn cardboard window box, with a white Styrofoam box bottom/cradle.

Not physically track run, this is a new, fully functional, "bench tested" model that was hooked up to a pair of transformer test leads to verify its operational status.
