Commissioned by Stephen W. Smith for use in Developing Opportunities and Solutions (D.O.S.) client gift baskets that contained personally selected bottles of Robert Mondavi Wine, this plastic shrink-wrapped pair 50 Foot Standard Steel Single Plug Door Boxcars without roofwalks bear multi-color images of the Mondavi Winery, which is located in Oakville, California.

With white sides, a maroon red roof, ends, and sills, and maroon red printing, NSC 04-134 (the model at the top of the listing photo) bears "Part of the Mondavi Family of Fine Wines Vintage 1998", "Opus One Compliments of D.O.S. Developing Opportunities and Solutions", and "When Empty Return To Oakville, CA" text.

With white sides, a green roof, ends, and sills, and green printing, NSC 04-135 (the model on the bottom of the listing photo) bears "Fume' Blanc Robert Mondavi Winery Napa Valley", "Compliments of D.O.S. Developing Opportunities and Solutions 2004", and "When Empty Return To Oakville, CA" text.

In C-9 condition with truck mounted Magne-Matic knuckle couplers, smooth backed wheels, and a paper set liner with multicolor printing, each car is packaged in a its own plastic jewel-box with a generic Micro-Trains Line special-run paper insert label.
