This C-9 condition Liberty Squadron Series model is equipped with a photo-etched brass brake wheel, roofwalk, and stirrup steps, truck mounted Accumate knuckle couplers, and low profile injection molded plastic wheel-sets.

Attached to the 379th Fighter Squadron of the 362nd Fighter Group of the 8th Air Force at Wormingford, England, "Five By Five" was a Republic Aviation P-47D Thunder Bolt.
