This C-9 condition Liberty Squadron Series model is equipped with a photo-etched brass brake wheel, roofwalk, and stirrup steps, truck mounted Accumate knuckle couplers, and low profile injection molded plastic wheel-sets.

Attached to the 5th Air Force, 90th Bombardment Group of the 400th Bombardment Squadron New, Guinea, "Belle Wringer" was a Consolidated B-24J Liberator.

The boxcar's road number is the same as the tail number that was assigned to the actual aircraft.
