Manufactured in the early 1990s, this cardboard sleeved Atlas Model Railroad Co., Inc. Special Edition set is comprised of three Southern Pacific Overnights (bearing reporting numbers SP 162049, SP 162624, and SP 162309) 40 Foot Steel PS-1 Single Sliding Door Boxcars with roofwalks, black ends, silver paint, and black, orange, red, and white printing.

Packaged without the manufacturer's customary individual paper insert labels, each C-9 condition model has its own plastic jewel-box, a white vacuum formed plastic cradle, body end printing, truck mounted Rapido couplers, and brown injection molded plastic wheel-sets.
